The volume of public proteomics data is rapidly increasing, causing a computational challenge for large scale reanalysis. Introducing quantms, a cloud-based pipeline designed for high-throughput proteomics data analysis. quantms makes use of cloud technology to offer users a scalable and efficient solution for analysing proteomics data making it possible to quantify thousands of proteins at once. Today we celebrate EMBL’s 50th anniversary 🎉 and in doing so we are reminded of how curiosity has driven our own missions. EMBL-EBI, established 30 years ago, began as a bold experiment to manage the world’s life science data. Starting with just 39 staff from 10 countries, we’ve grown into a global hub with over 700 experts from over 70 countries. Today, our 40 data resources support millions of scientists and fuel cutting-edge AI like Google DeepMind’s AlphaFold. Being a part of EMBL has created endless opportunities for collaborations and innovation.
