Today marks the start of Small Charity Week. This week is all about amplifying, supporting and connecting small charities across the UK. We strive to support small charities in their fundraising effort so they can further their vital work. 👏 To mark this special week, we're proud to release out first Social Impact Report. With a focus on the last two years, read all about our work, some of the small charities that fundraise with us and how much they have raised during that time. https://lnkd.in/d_GCGBNz A huge thank you to all our causes and supporters who have given us such good news on which to report! #SmallCharityWeek #MagicMonday

We're delighted to announce the winner from our Donation Day Share-to-Win competition! Following on from Donation Day last month, we challenged our causes to recruit supporters by sharing the news of their payment with our special Donation Day referral tools. Those causes that did entered our Share-to-Win draw to win a £1,000 donation. Congratulations to MS Society South Devon Group, who we know are going to put this prize to excellent use! 👏

Way to go team! 🏃 🏃♀️
Super proud of the easyfundraising team for running the Sutton Fun Run at the beginning of June! 🏃♀️ 🎽 🥇 It was a hot one (literally the only hot day of the year! 😰), but we did it and raised an incredible £1,342 for Birmingham Christmas Shelter! Thank you to everyone who donated; the money will go towards strengthening the security and first aid systems at the shelter this year. 💘

Each week we place an online grocery order for healthy food and snacks for our office kitchen (collecting a free donation for our cause of the year when we do so, naturally!). But this week, we've ordered a little more than we need... So this morning, we paid a visit to our local Lichfield Foodbank - what better use for it, than to support others in our local community? Jade Newton was in bright and early to get it all bagged up and taken over - great job Jade! 👏

As it's #VolunteersWeek we're reflecting on the volunteering efforts of our team. Each year, easyfundraising staff are given two volunteering days to take time away from the office, and lend a hand to a local good cause. In the past 12 months, some of the volunteering work has included: - Marketing team lending a hand in the kitchens at SIFA Fireside - Partnerships and HR team cleared canal pathways for Lichfield and Hatherton Canals Restoration Trust - Customer Operations team helped to clear up our city with Lichfield Litter Legends And much more... 👏 We know from our recent study into the impact of the cost-of-living crisis on small grassroots charities, that volunteer numbers are dwindling. We continue to encourage our staff to support such causes in any way we can! Find out more about our grassroots charity study here: https://lnkd.in/eHPiF5Np

Great piece of insight into how the cost of living crisis is continuing to affect charities and good causes
In both our business and personal lives, we see and feel the impact of the cost-of-living crisis. But what about the impact felt by good causes across the UK? Those smaller 'grassroots' causes which rely heavily on their local community which they serve, to give both money and time to help them continue their crucial work. That same community that is feeling such heightened time and financial pressure... Earlier this year we surveyed over 1,000 of our causes and charities to gain some insight into how their income was affected in 2023 and how they were feeling for 2024. Visit the link to read our supporting article and download the free PDF report to see all the key stats and how we're helping such causes fight back. Read now 👉 https://rb.gy/smk0xm
