We're running Firefighter Recruitment Experience Events during August and early September for anyone thinking of applying when we open wholetime recruitment at the end of September. Attendance at these events is open to anyone aged 18 or over, it costs nothing, and there's no obligation to apply as a result - but we’d love it if you do! Equally, you don't have to attend to be eligible to apply. These sessions simply give you an insight into the role of a firefighter and some of the job-related tests you will need to successfully complete as part of the selection process. They also provide the opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have. Take a look at https://lnkd.in/e7VQgbpf for more information and to book a place. #Dorset #Wiltshire #FirefighterRecruitment #BeOneOfUs

With the summer holidays looming, we will see an increase in visitors to our area, so review your assessment to make sure you are ready. Calls are being made from various mobile numbers to local businesses, claiming to be working for us and selling advertising in a fire safety magazine. We DO NOT sell anything, nor do we ask someone else to sell on our behalf. Any genuine contact from DWFRS can be validated by phone or email. If you are contacted in this way, please report to your local Trading Standards.
