🌼 𝗦𝗨𝗠𝗠𝗘𝗥 𝗩𝗢𝗟𝗨𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗗𝗔𝗬 🌼 On Tuesday 11th of June we had a team of 8 take part in the Business in the Community Northern Ireland Summer Volunteering Action Day in Ballymena for Praxis Care. Praxis Care are a registered charity that support adults with learning disabilities, Autism and other health conditions to live their best lives in the community. The team were tasked with tidying up the exterior of a property, de-weeding, power washing, removing debris and general garden maintenance. It was a great opportunity for our divisional teams to come together whilst giving back to the community. 🎉 𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗬 𝗥𝗘𝗧𝗜𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗚𝗘𝗥𝗥𝗬 🎉 Last Friday we bid farewell to Gerry McCrystal, our Site Storeman for over 30 years! A long-standing pillar of the company particularly on site, Gerry has passed on his knowledge to younger teams coming through. From his earlier days working on the Limavady Schools, Omagh Hospital and Ulster Hospital, to more recent projects including the University of Ulster Belfast and the new Grand Central Station. We would like to thank Gerry for all his hard work and dedication over the years to Dowds Group and wish him all the best on his retirement!
