We are a network of trainers with a shared vision: to give everyone with a dog the skills to act in an emergency

About us

We are a network of trained professionals and trainers with a shared vision - to give everyone with a dog in their life the skills and confidence to act in an emergency. There are 9 million dogs in the UK and the majority will require First Aid at least once in their life. As owners and carers we never know when an accident may happen and they will need our help. Since 2013 we have trained thousands of people to provide the emergency care their dogs need before getting to a vet. We are so proud that in many cases this has saved the dog's life.

#winnersannouncement Our fourth, and final, award for 2023 was for the Franchisor's Franchisee. That's right, she won TWICE!! Congratulations and three cheers for Louise at Dog First Aid Hertfordshire and Central Bedfordshire!! She deserves recognition for so many reasons. She is an amazing advocate for the brand - truly embodying the values we represent. By regularly attending network events and promoting her business, she has grown her social media following by 133%!! She can often be seen in the community representing Dog First Aid and her work with infant school children on basic canine first aid is demonstrating to the next generation how we need to take care of our pets. She has also nurtured strong business connections through her local Chamber of Commerce and LinkedIn. She is happy to push herself outside of her comfort zone and consciously commits to trying new things - even if they are scary at first. In 2022 she set herself a stretching target of delivering 50% more hosted courses in 2023 than in 2022, she actually achieved a 63% increase!! Her year on year turnover has increased by an impressive 41% year on year! We couldn't be more proud of Louise's achievements!!

What a great way to kick off a Friday morning! Filming an insights session for The BFA with Pip Wilkins QFP, Ryan Armitage and Jon Swaby on diversity and inclusion. The topic was around how we make our franchise businesses more accessible for employees and franchisees with disabilities or who are neurodiverse. As a “neuro-spicy” (ADHD) person this was a topic close to my ❤️ I learnt a lot from my fellow panelists and just by having the conversation and focusing on what is possible.
