🧵 COMING SOON 🧵 Did you know that the fashion and textile industry is the third-largest emitter of greenhouse gases globally? What does the future hold for fashion in the age of climate crisis? We're excited to announce 'Tomorrow’s Wardrobe', an upcoming free display which will explore the potential for a more sustainable fashion industry, showcasing research taking place across different parts of the industry, to reduce this damage. The display will look at initiatives across the production, design and use of clothes to reduce the industry’s environmental and social impact. This will be the second display in the museum’s new #FutureObservatory display space, which platforms ongoing design research projects across the UK, in partnership with the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) Opening 14 September 2024 - tap the link to find out more: https://bit.ly/3SnzwJR 📸 1.
