    CEO & Co-Founder at Definely - we’re hiring 🚀

I had the pleasure of attending the #BCF2024 where I shared a panel with some inspiring entrepreneurs (Tevin Tobun, founder of ROUTD (his 9th company 🤯), Claudine Adeyemi-Adams FIEP of Earlybird and Emeka Frederick of Chuku's - Nigerian Tapas Restaurant). We had an insightful discussion moderated by Ariel W.. I also had the opportunity to meet some incredible Black lawyers - some of whom were users of Definely. It was a fantastic event and a wonderful highlight for me was seeing some students that I mentored back when I was an associate, now associates themselves. Congrats to Sharon Thomas and the Black Counsel Forum team for organising a much needed event and thanks to Paulette Mastin for the invite.

𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐀𝐈 𝐒𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐂𝐚𝐧’𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡 𝐚 𝐋𝐚𝐰𝐲𝐞𝐫’𝐬 𝐏𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞 - An insightful article published by Legal IT Insider and written by our own Feargus M.! “The 80% Solution: Why It’s Not Enough. Models like GPT, Claude, and LLaMA are undoubtedly impressive generalists. They might even get 80% of legal reasoning right based on their logic. But in our profession, that remaining 20% isn’t just the cherry on top – it’s often where the real meat of legal work lies. At Definely, we’ve been tackling this challenge head-on. We’ve developed what we call a 'human logic algorithm'. It’s not about creating a super-powerful language model; it’s about understanding how lawyers actually think and work through problems..."
