Celebrating One Year at Cosworth: A Dream Realized! Just over a year ago, I joined Cosworth as a graduate engineer, and what a journey it's been! From day one, I've been hands-on in the world of high-tech engine development, but one very recent experience stands out: partnering with Driver61 to showcase our advanced piston development process. Having the chance to collaborate with such a prominent figure in the automotive world was a brilliant experience. Together, we dove into every piston detail - from initial CAD designs through on-site forging and machining to the intense dyno testing at our Northampton HQ. It was a proud moment to help Driver 61 and his audience discover the precision and hard work that goes into crafting the perfect piston. Check out the video here: https://lnkd.in/grjZybGW Being part of this bespoke experience was not just a highlight of my time here, but a testament to the innovation and expertise that defines Cosworth’s engineering values. Here’s to many more exciting projects and another year of pushing the boundaries in engine design and development! #Engineering #Cosworth #Driver61 #PistonDesign #Innovation #AutomotiveEngineering #ProudEngineer

This weekend played host to another thrilling BTCC race – this time at the legendary Donington Park circuit. A massive congratulations to all the drivers and teams – it was motorsport racing at its finest! The race also showcased the crucial role the Cosworth CDU 7 display screen has played throughout this season. The CDU 7 is more than just a display - it's a fully configurable, high-tech and optimised 7" ultra-slim aluminium screen equipped with built-in shift and warning lights. Its design ensures maximum durability and brightness, providing consistent and reliable data feedback to drivers and teams. Integrated seamlessly within the Cosworth ecosystem, the CDU 7 allows for a streamlined setup through the company's Toolset Software, making it the preferred choice for both drivers and engineers in top-level motorsport - including the BTCC. Watch our tech video with Árón Taylor-Smith from Evans Halshaw Power Maxed Racing to see just how the CDU 7 is driving innovation and success on the BTCC track. #Cosworth #MotorsportTechnology #EngineeringExcellence #BTCC #DoningtonPark #Innovation

We headed to the Formula Student Final at Silverstone this July in support of the three teams we have assisted this year: Staffordshire University, University of Manchester and University of Liverpool. We provided them with a Badenia 2 and the relevant sensors to aid in their data logging efforts and enable greatness in their cars. It was fantastic to hear firsthand from each team about their experiences with Cosworth. #Cosworth #FS2024 #FormulaStudent
