Another complex control system ready for delivery to site ⚡ The last few days I've been in the trenches focused on getting this dual gen / mains synch system configured ready for dispatch to a multinational tech company in Ireland next week. This synch system will ensure that the primary power supply to the site is fully monitored and automatically backed up from two large prime power diesel generators. Utilising ComAp's InteliSCADA, the state of entire control system can be easily viewed and controlled from a single point via the 18 inch industrial touchscreen PC. Working very closely with our contract partners PPS, together we had the privilege of supporting a significant expansion programme at a salmon hatchery in Scotland. Our team built and installed both a main switchboard and a generator switchboard for this project. Earlier this month, around 300 vehicles took to the streets of London to protest, calling for existing laws to be enforced. As part of the campaign, Trades United is urging the government to impose a fine of £10,000 on event organizers, such as car boot sales and markets, where stolen tools are being resold. Having tools stolen can have a catastrophic effect on a small business with 83% of tradespeople saying they lost business as a result of tool theft.
