About us
Founded by Mike Hamilton in 2009, Commando Joe’s hires ex-military personnel to work with schools across the UK, inspiring young people to achieve, improving attainment, attendance, behaviour and health. Commando Joe’s run bespoke, DfE-supported, programmes for primary, secondary and SEN schools for all budgets. Schools that have been involved in our School-led and Commando-led programme have seen improved levels of attainment and attendance, as well as a reduction in problem behaviour. We also work hard to ensure pupils are aware of the importance of good health and well-being. The success of our programmes has been validated by independent research by the University of Swansea. Our passion is developing the whole child and our success has been supporting amazing schools with a whole school approach equipping pupils for life in modern Britain through our RESPECT framework, Pupils who can be; Resilient- Empathetic- Self-Aware- Positive - Work on Excellence - Communication and Teamwork.
