Kevin spent time at our hospice with his wife Patricia last year. As Patricia’s health declined, Kevin promised to stay with her until the end and he was amazed that he was able to do so – even staying overnight – during her final three weeks at the hospice. “I vowed to be by her side, and the hospice staff made sure I could keep that promise.” Read this touching story and learn more about how our hospice is helping those in our diverse community approach death in a way that suits their values, beliefs and lifestyle. https://lnkd.in/eD7StFMF

We recently hosted a successful palliative care and hospice pop-up stand at Queen Elizabeth Hospital where we spoke with over 30 hospital staff, helping them understand the full range of care we offer. We had loads of meaningful conversations. Many staff learned that hospice care is not just for the end of life, but also provides much-needed support for patients and their families at different stages of care. We look forward to more opportunities like this to further engage with our community and continue spreading awareness of the care and support that we provide 🧡.

We splashed, We danced, We conquered 🥳🥳 Despite the cloudy skies, the energy at our annual Colour Run party that held yesterday was unmatched! We are so grateful to all our amazing participants, sponsors, and supporters who helped bring the fun to life. Every pound raised will go towards supporting families in need of end-of-life care through our local Hospice. A special thank you to our headline sponsor, Jennings & Barrett for their incredible support! We also want to thank PPL PRS Ltd for their generous discount on the cost of the music license, helping us bring the beats to the day. A huge shoutout to our colour station sponsors – Freeman Harris Solicitors, Judge & Priestley and CC Events for adding a splash of joy to the party. Judge & Priestley also kept us hydrated by sponsoring the water station. Thank you for an amazing Colour Run party. Together, we created something beautiful and we can’t wait to do it all again next year!🧡🧡🧡

For many, hospice care is surrounded by misconceptions—something Kamaljit’s family learned firsthand. When her father-in-law needed end-of-life care, their initial hesitation turned to comfort as they experienced the warmth, tranquility, and compassionate care offered by our hospice.
