We've been excited to say this... The refurbishment of Jactin House co-working area is complete! 🙌 Our product team have been hard at work for the past month and lets just say they've absolutely smashed it out of the park. The new area has been given a whole new feel and a ton of new features. The summer might be over but our workspace upgrades certainly haven't stopped! 🌅 We have now completed refurbisment works on the 1st and 2nd floors of Jactin House, adding additional meeting rooms, breakout areas and phone booths for our Private Office Members. Next on the horizon is our fully refurbished coworking area, The Works, for our Floating Desk & Dedicated Desk Members. Once this phase is complete, Jactin House will feature: • A fully revamped coworking area, with new furnishings and layout. • Opened landings to bring more natural light to our private offices. • Four additional meeting rooms, exclusively for members. • Six additional phone booths, plus four newly refurbished. • Five additional breakout areas, also exclusive to members. • Twenty six bespoke designed, ergonomic, dedicated desks. • Two collaboration spaces, exclusive to private office members. • Six brand new touch-down workstations. • One brand new social kitchen with premium coffee tap. • One dedicated focus room, exclusive to our coworking members. It's not just Jactin House that's been enjoying a refresh, we've been making a few changes around COLONY Piccadilly as well... We’ll start off with the most notable change… The floor! We’ve moved away from the cool - dark - grey concrete and replaced it with a lovely wood finish. The space is looking brighter than it ever had before.✨ On top of that; we’ve added in a new set of phone booths to the venue. 🙌 Our members use these booths all the time for meetings and private calls so we listened to their feedback and built additional ones. 🛠️ Piccadilly is our most central venue and is a perfect break from the WFH slog being so close to the train station (it’s literally round the corner). So if you or a friend is getting sick of those same four walls be sure to check out Colony Piccadilly - give your poor bedroom desk a break 😉

There are some very exciting developments happening across our Jactin House workspace! 🛠️ Our product and fit-out team have been hard at work designing, refurbishing and upgrading four floors of our flagship venue in Ancoats. Over the course of this summer we have already completed: ✅ Addtional meetings rooms ✅ Additional breakout areas ✅ Additional phone booths All of these are across the 1st & 2nd floors, further enhancing the experience of our private office members beyond the ground floor facilities. We have now begun work on our main coworking area, The Works, which will be getting a brand new layout, meeting rooms, social kitchen and phone booths. (check out the images for sneak peek!) It was from this very area that Colony was launched in 2017, so we are delighted to be bringing the experience we have gained from our wider network of Manchester venues to life here.
