📣We are thrilled to welcome Isavella Georgiades to CN Bio ! Isavella joins us as a Research Assistant in the Toxicology R&D team, bringing a fresh perspective and a passion for scientific discovery. She recently graduated with an MRes in Regenerative Medicine and Stem Cells Biology and holds a BSc in Biochemistry from Newcastle University, where she honed her scientific skills through various research projects. During her Master's research project, Isavella investigated the effects of a telomerase-targeting drug on immortalised cardiomyocytes, a project which sparked her interest in in vitro toxicity and how drugs impact human cell lines. She is excited to be at the forefront of innovative Organ-on-a-chip technology at CN Bio, with the opportunity to contribute to scientific advancements in drug discovery. Beyond the lab, Isavella enjoys exploring the world through films 🎬and cooking🥘. She loves movies that delve into existentialism, with one of her favourites being "2001: A Space Odyssey."  Even in her leisure she doesn't leave her meticulous ways behind, often gravitating towards complex and detailed recipes - from prawn wontons to Basque cheesecake, she has tried many recipes from across the world. 👏Please join us and give Isavella Georgiades a warm welcome to CN Bio. 👉If you're interested in joining our team?
