Hello LinkedIn 🌍 Long time no post 😊 So I had the privilege of attending the RecFest UK alongside Nancy Augustine Waran Bridget Head Victoria Coakley, Jackie Cloake and Toyin Oluwole, where we participated several insightful sessions. Out of all the amazing sessions these two really stood out to me. Here are my takeaways and my thoughts on implementing and future directions in Recruitment Molly Johnson-Jones on "Using data to build a wining EVP and attract diverse candidates 🌟 Leveraging Employee Stories and Voices: Highlighting our employees' stories and leading with their voices can effectively demonstrate our commitment to a diverse and inclusive workplace. Sharing these narratives on social media and other platforms can illustrate our "People First" culture. 🌟 Utilising Employee-Generated Content: Encouraging employees to share their experiences and insights is a brilliant way to attract new talent. Authentic, employee-generated content resonates well with potential candidates and builds trust. 🌟 Role Modelling from the Top: Leadership should model the behaviours and values we wish to see throughout the organisation. This sets a standard and inspires confidence in our commitment to diversity and inclusion. 🌟 Promoting Flexibility: Incorporating flexible working arrangements is crucial to appeal to a broader range of candidates. Offering hybrid working models and flexible hours supports work-life balance and personal wellbeing. How we built AI tools that work in TA delivered by Andy Headworth FCIPD and Siobhan Stericker VR. ✨ Tracking Diversity with AI Using AI tools to generate diversity reports helps us understand the demographics of our candidate pool. This ensures we are not only attracting a diverse range of applicants but also supporting an inclusive hiring process. Emphasizing diversity in our recruitment efforts aligns with our commitment to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace. ✨ Tailored Recruitment Ads AI tools like Mind Studio can help us tailor our job adverts to reach the right audience. By creating more effective job postings, we can attract candidates who are the best fit. Targeted advertising ensures our recruitment efforts are focused and efficient. ✨ Mind Studio: an AI tool that was used to build skill scribe, that assists with drafting job adverts from scratch, including social media posts and trending hashtags, making recruitment more straightforward. By integrating tools like mind studio, we can streamline our recruitment advertising process, ensuring messages are consistent and engaging. I am an advocate of stepping out our comfort zones and exploring these AI tools to move beyond traditional recruitment systems. adopting new technologies to help simplify our recruitment processes especially for hiring mangers, providing valuable insights and enhance overall strategy. #RecruitmentFestival #TalentAcquisition #AIinRecruitment #DiversityAndInclusion #CandidateExperience #FutureOfWork #CLCH

The wellbeing of our staff is central to the care we deliver to our communities. In response to feedback shared in surveys, our wellbeing ambassadors, like Nurse Stacy Roberts, have organised staff lunches and local awards to recognise colleagues for their hard work. If you have similar ideas to improve your colleagues’ wellbeing, share them in the Pulse Survey now. 📝

Staff in Finchley were visited by the dementia bus last week, which provides an immersive experience to help staff recognise the impact of the condition on patients. A physiotherapist who attended said: "This virtual and sensory experience of how dementia impacts person's life really helps to understand dementia patients. This training has improved my level of understanding regarding dementia and helped to improve my practice."
