Historically, Anglesey and Pembrokeshire have been at the forefront of marine energy development in Wales, and this year’s figures show that hasn’t changed: ✅ Anglesey leads the way with £103.8 million investment to date ✅ Pembrokeshire is a close second with £97 million Our data also shows Swansea is emerging as a key hotspot for development within the sector, with £39.2 million spent to date. 🔗 Delve into more detail: https://lnkd.in/gyrKPCgc

It is critical that Government clear the backlog of Harbour Orders as a matter of urgency and ensure that timeframes are sensible. Four year delays deter investment and development and it's positive that this is being recognised by the media at such a busy time.

We’re delighted to announce that applications for the pilot funding round of our innovative #SupplyChainAccelerator can be submitted from today!   To help grow and nurture the UK’s domestic #OffshoreWind supply chain, we have created a new £50m fund to accelerate and de-risk the early-stage development activity.    The initial £10m pilot round is now open for applications for businesses across the #UK looking to establish projects that could support the development of a new or expanded #SupplyChain capability to be ready for #FloatingOffshoreWind deployment in the #CelticSea enabled through Leasing Round 5.   The application process closes on Tuesday 30 July and successful projects will be announced from October 2024!
