We want more people to know about what our amazing Equality Fund grantees are doing! Action Youth Boxing Intervention (AYBI), started over 7 years ago, received their first-ever funding from us. This support helped them get their interventions into schools, using boxing to help young people channel their frustrations and anger into something positive. 🥊✨ Now, they have their own space, are expanding into Angel, and have built a team dedicated to supporting our young people. 🌟 It’s crucial to keep places like this open. This wouldn’t be possible without your donations. Sign up for monthly donations today to ensure we can continue making a difference. https://lnkd.in/d-c_QgY 💚 The photo features Albert McEyeson, AYBI founder, a resident who was on the panel that funded AYBI, and a representative from Argent LLP who donated to this fund, showing the community effort behind AYBI's success.

Donations to Camden Giving support local projects chosen by Camden residents. 🌟 Thanks to your support, Khadys Dream and leaders like Kevin Koffi can continue their vital work. At a recent workshop, they surveyed 40 young people aged 13-21. Shockingly, 37 out of 40 said they’d willingly go to prison for 2 years or more for £1000. This shows how important Khadys Dream is.

Last week I had the privilege of attending Camden Giving's Equality Fund Celebration on behalf of Moonbug Entertainment to hear about the vitally important projects the fund has helped to establish. I spent time talking to Kevin Koffi, the founder of Khadys Dream, 'an innovative support service designed to provide a comprehensive safety net for young people at risk... dedicated to deterring them from committing crimes through in-depth workshops about the consequences of crime'. They surveyed 40 young people aged 13-21 at a workshop in Camden in July 2023. 37 out of 40 said they'd willingly go to prison for 2 years or more for £1000... Kevin and his project are an inspiration and demonstrate the drastic need for their work and exemplify the value of participatory grant making, led by amazing organisations like Camden Giving. We're proud to support them.

At the Equality Fund celebration event, grantees, panellists, and business partners met for the first time to discuss each grantee’s needs and goals. Batuala from Creators House is holding his poster, which beautifully outlines their mission and vision. We do this work to ensure voices like Batuala's are heard and supported. Have a read and share! 🌟

Following the NW5 post, today we're sharing a pic of our grantee, CLIME-IT BROTHERS LIMITED! Each grantee at our Equality Fund celebration had a custom poster to showcase their work and needs. Our goal is to get more people to know about those bringing communities together for a better Camden. Clime-It Brothers is a clothing brand helping young people get employed and keep that entrepreneurial spirit alive instead of selling drugs by selling clothing. Let us know in the comments if you've visited their store in Camden Market! 📣✨ #EqualityFund #CommunityImpact #KeepItCamden

At our 2024 Equality Fund celebration, each grantee had a custom poster made by Melissa from Engage Here to showcase their work and needs. We often hear, "I didn't know this existed!" which is why we did this—to spread the word about these amazing projects. First up is NW5 Project! 📣✨ #EqualityFund #CommunityImpact #KeepItCamden

Some of my lovely colleagues will be competing in this year's T100 triathlon to raise funds for our charity partner, Camden Giving. A charity very close to our heart, as Camden Giving supports the local community in Camden Town, where our London office is based!
