Great Big Green Week Small Grants Fund - Deadline extended to 19th April. Thanks to support from Oxfordshire County Council's Climate Action Oxfordshire website, we have funding to offer to Oxfordshire groups or organisations wanting to put on an event or series of events around Great Big Green Week 2024. Groups may apply for funding (up to £1,000/year for five years (£5,000 maximum total over the lifetime of the grant) that facilitates activities that connect communities with green spaces to enjoy the benefits of connecting with nature and the outdoor world. Here we go again and....IT'S LIVE!! The Big Give #GreenMatchFund double donation fundraiser that is! We're taking part once again to raise money to support local #Oxfordshire Community Action Groups to deliver events and activities during #GreatBigGreenWeek. Great Big Green Week is a national celebration of community action to tackle climate change led by The Climate Coalition. Over the last 3 years, it has become a significant moment for the CAG Oxfordshire network. Last year, we supported more than 20 groups to engage residents in activities such as repair cafes, tree plantings, storytime sessions, vegetarian cooking demonstrations and more. We'd like to double the number of groups involved this year and encourage activities for the whole of June.
