Today marks the launch of a groundbreaking partnership between Cadent and Birmingham Community Healthcare Charity (BCHC Charity) – The Direct Access to Wellbeing Services Team. Following an investment of £2.4 million from Cadent and Cadent Foundation, patients will receive fully funded financial, energy efficiency, and carbon monoxide support, as well as the team promoting health messages and access to health apps to keep the people of Birmingham well and warm. Today we hosted Blackpool South MP, Chris Webb MP in our local depot and on-site at a big mains replacement project. We discussed our emergency service role, our ongoing investment in the network and our future plans. We also spoke about our work to help local communities and the many projects we lead and support here at Cadent (and through Cadent Foundation) - from making a difference to people who are living in fuel poverty to providing employment opportunities to talented people who might otherwise not be given them.
