Shocking findings in our Growing Up In Poverty report reveal that 50% of families in poverty can't afford a bed for their children. This is unacceptable in 2024. Families are barely keeping their heads above water during the ongoing battle against the cost of living crisis, some families forced to either share limited space in beds or sleep on the floor. We need urgent action. We are facing a poverty emergency.

Following the introduction of the Domestic Abuse Act 2021, children were legally recognised as victims of domestic abuse. However, many children affected by domestic abuse are unable to access the support they need. The Domestic Abuse Commissioner is keen to understand the existing provision for children and young people and how their access to support can be improved. If you work with babies, children and young people affected by Domestic Abuse you can access the survey here: https://lnkd.in/esTdDQ_S
