BT Digital Voice - the first year on the road! Over the last 15 months, the BT Group community outreach programme has seen us visit every corner of the UK. Here are some highlights of that time: ⭐️ 340 events in different communities, talking to our customers face to face. ⭐️ Over 1200 BT employees volunteered to help pull this scale of outreach off! ⭐️ We’ve spoken to 25,000 customers directly, reassuring them about their landline. ⭐️ Our customers scored an average of 8.7/10.0 for their knowledge of what’s happening after talking to us. ⭐️ We’ve engaged with thousands of stakeholders across Central Gov, Loval Gov, Media, Voluntary sector, community groups and faith groups to ensure everyone has accurate information that can be shared. ⭐️We’ve reached 1.5 million people with our regional newspaper campaign. ⭐️ We’ve reached 46 million people with our radio campaign. This is an industry wide, once-in-a-generation transformation, that impacts around 12 million homes in the UK. Landlines are going digital and it’s essential people have reassuring and factual information so they’re not worrying. The landline isn’t going anywhere, it’s just changing 😃 There’s more to do though! In the year ahead we plan to build on the brilliant work to date, by hosting a further 800 events in different communities across the UK, reaching thousands more of our customers and helping thousands more stakeholders help the people they support.
