We installed 56 x 440W panels, a Fox ESS Hybrid inverter, and 29kWh of modular battery storage, all connected to a new consumer unit and neatly tucked away in the barn corner. With everything commissioned and CTs feeding back to the mains, the client can now monitor site consumption and even grid charge the batteries with cheap 7p/kWh energy overnight, boosting their savings even further! ⚡️💡

The mono-pitch bitumen roof was not suitable for ballasted frames, which required our team to develop an innovative solution. 🤔 After thorough analysis and planning, we designed a custom fixing solution that allowed for the secure attachment of solar panels without the need for expensive structural reinforcements or IFP's. This approach resulted in significant cost savings for our client while also providing a practical and efficient solution that adheres to all necessary wind and snow loading requirements. 💡 This marks the second modular installation we have completed using this method, with the previous project being of a more classified nature! What we can say is it's encouraging to witness an increasing number of public sector organizations embracing renewable energy and adopting sustainable practices. 🌿 ✈
