Welcome to Planet BrewDog.

About us

Back in 2007, friends James Watt and Martin Dickie from the the North East of Scotland, were bored of the industrially brewed lagers and stuffy ales that dominated the UK market. They decided the best way to fix this undesirable predicament was to brew their own beers. Consequently, BrewDog was born. Two men, one dog & a mission to make other people as passionate about great craft beer as we are is how it all started. 16 years later - 3000 crew mates globally. 4 state of the art breweries - Ellon, Columbus, Berlin & Brisbane. 100 bars. 220,000 Equity Punks. The UK's fastest growing brand and the top craft beer brand in the world. The mission remains. But this is only the beginning.

HELLO, BANGKOK   BrewDog Ploenchit, our first EVER bar in Bangkok, is officially open. And we're pretty damn excited. It's right opposite the Central Embassy, and packed with...   🍺 16 taps of incredible craft beer from local Thai and South East Asian Breweries, and yours truly 🍸 A cracking spirit, cocktail, and wine selection  🍔 A food menu with classic wings, burgers and salads, and some delicious local exclusives  🎧 LOADS of live music lined up 🎯 Augmented reality darts (incredibly fun. Incredibly competitive.) If you find yourself in Bangkok, you know where to head. And if you don't right now, you might as well still join us in cracking open a beer to celebrate - I know I will be. We publish our main sustainability report – the MEGA report – each year, usually in late summer. But we also provide mini updates from time to time, and one has just landed! Today’s update covers tree planting at the Lost Forest, and the progress of our anaerobic digester plant at Ellon. You can also read about an important development in our carbon journey. We were proud to become the first carbon negative beer company back in 2020. Unfortunately, the market for carbon credits has changed since then. That’s why we’ve taken the decision to exit the carbon market so we can focus on reducing emissions in our operations and supply chain. It will mean letting our carbon negative claim lapse. Reducing carbon in our operations and supply chain has always been our number one priority and we will absolutely be doubling down on our efforts. Our passion for the planet remains undimmed, but this move ensures it is focused on the things that really matter. You can download and read the latest report here: https://lnkd.in/eR34h_mF

How are you dealing with the news that England aren’t European champions? We’ll let our Scottish designer start, who dropped this into the group chat earlier today…   (Glad to see they’re taking the fact they don’t need to carry on working on a winning England can design well. Maybe in a couple of years it’ll see the light of day)

England fans: want to turn a bad lost feeling into a good one? You've probably either booked today as annual leave, or you're working silently from home, OR you're in the office and need an escape from non-England supporters rubbing it in. So if you head into one of our (English) bars from 12pm-3pm TODAY, you can get a free pint of Lost to ease the pain. All you need to do is say the words: "WE LOST SO I NEED A LOST" We'll sort you out. (Got to be 18 , available in English BrewDog bars only, and one redemption per person. Available between 12pm-3pm 15/7/24)
