We’re delighted to announce that our long-standing partnership with Deloitte has picked up another award! At the #ICEAwardsUK24 earlier this month, our collaboration on their UK Partnership Meeting was awarded ‘Best Agency Collaboration’. Here’s what the judges had to say: ‘This project exemplifies excellence through its comprehensive and forward-thinking approach to agency collaboration. At the heart of the entry was compelling evidence of a “productive challenge” within their business partnership, which consistently pushed the boundaries of creativity for both parties. One of the project’s most commendable aspects is its emphasis on #inclusivity and #community. Moreover, aligning the project with the UN #SustainableDevelopmentGoals (SDGs) while drawing inspiration from Stanley Kubrick truly resonated with us at ICE HUB. Overall, the submission demonstrated a clear and effective collaboration of talent, resulting in an outstanding business conference tailored for a discerning and expectant senior audience.’ You can find out more here: https://lnkd.in/dB8TQXMU This further recognises the power of our partnership – founded on trust, dedication, and a relentless pursuit of excellence in every project. 🏆 #agencycollaboration

This week we’re celebrating 14 years of Brands at Work!   Our journey so far has been nothing short of extraordinary (another term that we don’t use lightly) - and we owe it all to our talented team, dedicated partners, and invaluable network of freelancers.   While our extended herd are already aware, some of you may be wondering, “what’s with the zebra?”   Meet George. George represents the uniqueness of our team and our dedication to producing truly stand-out creative solutions. Just like each zebra’s stripe is as unique as a human fingerprint, so are the people and projects which make up Brands at Work. George embodies our individuality and quirky nature – things that we value highly as a creative business.   A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has been along for the ride so far. Your passion and commitment to excellence have been the driving force behind our success.   Here’s to many more years of creating ‘stories that stick, and experiences that move.’ #creativecomms

It’s been just over a month since Brands at Brunch 5: Talking Transformation, so it’s time for a little recap. Here are our top 10 takeaways ( a little extra helping): 1. Imagine That 🔮 Always communicate with a vivid vision. Explain the ‘why’ behind the change or transformation and describe the destination. People don't necessarily have to like the plan, but they must understand it. 2. Chart the Journey📍 Successful transformation requires a clearly mapped path - this includes tangible steps and meaningful goals that get colleagues invested. Demonstrate the personal benefits and define what’s expected of individuals. 3. Get Real 💯 Change comms must feel human, so avoid’ CEO-speak’ and communicate transparently and consistently. Be frank and speak honestly. Leadership comms are more effective when they acknowledge the good, the bad, and the ugly. 4. Know Your Audience 👽 Top-down, company-wide updates can fall flat when reaching those furthest from the c-suite. Instead, tailor comms and leverage events to interact with different audiences. And be sure to share stories that represent all the faces of change. 5. Dig The Disruptors 🧗♀️ If the vision is the ‘beach’, consider those who prefer the mountains. Listen to the sceptics as they provide useful insight that fortifies the strategy. Engage with the greatest disruptors to overcome resistance and improve engagement. 6. Be Like Water ⛲️ Change campaigns must be adaptable. Build regular check-ins and feedback loops with colleagues to monitor sentiment and be prepared to pivot if the current approach isn’t working. Agility ensures that change efforts remain relevant and effective. 7. Level-up Leaders 🕹️ Investing in L&D is a must, but it’s particularly essential for leadership. By properly incentivising and upskilling leaders, businesses create much more effective role models - reducing the risk of stagnation and the ‘Frozen Middle’ effect. 8. Mindset Matters 💭 Focus on shifting mindsets, both individually and institutionally, to break free from limiting beliefs that can block progress. Effective comms, employee engagement and L&D programmes can equip employees with the mentality to thrive. 9. Champion Change 🦋 Change is the only constant in life (and in business), so create a culture that embraces it. ‘Always on’ campaigns can reinforce this - responding to concerns, celebrating achievements, and showing progress to combat change fatigue. 10. Make Waves 🌊 Consider the ripple effect of transformation. Change can be disjointed, impacting people at different times, across different groups. Milestone events and multi-channel comms can help embed change in a more synchronous way. BONUS TAKEAWAY: Include Everyone 🌈 Recognise and respect the differences in how people approach and adopt change. Bring everyone on the journey through inclusive campaigns that give all colleagues the opportunity to understand and engage with the process. Join us next time: [email protected]

As one of Brands at Work’s founding clients, we’re proud to have worked closely with Deloitte UK for over 13 years. We truly love collaborating with their senior stakeholders and experiential team because they continually challenge us to create original, engaging experiences for their people – that are driven by storytelling, sustainability and technology.   Their 2023 UK Partner Meeting – 27Unlocked – was the perfect example of how our symbiotic relationship and unique understanding, formed from many years of partnership, came together to deliver an extraordinary business conference for their 900-strong senior audience.    We’re delighted to have this special relationship recognised and look forward to attending the ICEAWARDS in London with the other finalists in 3 weeks. #ICEAWARDS24

We’re delighted to have been recognised for our work with Deloitte on what turned out to be one of our most engaging and inspiring events to date. Those words can be a little bit overused within our industry, but we don’t mind saying; this event was a special one.   From an innovative LED floor stage to an interactive debate on Artificial Intelligence, the event was digitally driven, with every aspect designed with the spirit of collaboration that sits at the heart of Deloitte’s partnerships.    We look forward to attending the #mbawards24 with the other finalists next week! 🥂

Yesterday, we spent the morning at one of our favourite London venues for Brands at Brunch 5, where we were 'Talking Transformation'. This time around, we gathered our community of comms, marketing and event leaders at Old Sessions House, a stunning Grade II listed building originally built as a courthouse in 1780. Our panel of change experts Frankie Freeman-Day, Head of Internal & Executive Communications - EMEA at Youtube, Julia Thompson, Change Manager & Founder of JETChange and Clare Melton, Event Director for Advent International were superb. They shared their insights and experiences around a particularly challenging theme, igniting some dynamic roundtable conversations afterwards. Thank you once again to all of our fantastic guests for sharing your expertise and contributing to the discussions. We’ll be back again in a few months to unpick our next topic over brunch, so if you’re interested in attending let us know at [email protected]. As always, please be sure to let us know as soon as possible, as places do go fast. We'll be sharing a more detailed breakdown of the key takeaways from yesterday's session in the upcoming weeks, but for now check out a snapshot of the morning below. Oh, and if you were eggs-pecting another killer food pun, we're sorry to say this one might be a little... crepe. 👀 #brandsatbrunch #transformation
