🎉 Congratulations to our Amber Cheung who has been named in this year's Brands Untapped 100! The Brands Untapped 100 is a celebration of 100 designers, product developers and creatives in the brand licensing industry who have excelled over the last 12 months. Here's why she made it in the list: Amber Cheung plays a critical role throughout the creative development and production of Born Licensing's advertising campaigns, while also managing deals coming from the UK and Asia on the Born to License side of the business. She’s managed the creative development and approval process for some of the biggest IP-driven campaigns of the last few years, including Asda's ‘Have Your Elf a Merry Christmas’ (the most emotionally effective Christmas campaign ever tested by System1). Last year, she also managed a UK campaign for the AA titled ‘It’s OK, I’m With The AA’, which licensed nostalgic arcade game characters Street Fighter. The OOH campaign was executed with impressive digital screens featuring Street Fighter’s signature moves displayed in major UK cities, and was a huge success (including being named ‘Ad of the Day’ by Campaign). #licensing #advertising #brandsuntapped

#ThrowbackThursday: remember when SpongeBob SquarePants starred in a Meta Facebook India campaign? Facebook India’s creative agency Wieden Kennedy Amsterdam reached out to us with a request to license a well-known animation clip as part of the ‘Live What You Love’ campaign. With a number of cartoon moments in mind, the agency asked us to explore the feasibility of licensing the various options, whilst putting together a shortlist of back up options. We engaged with a number of Rights Holders, many of whom we have existing relationships with, to walk them through the creative direction and begin to negotiate commercial licensing terms should their clip be chosen for the final cut. #licensing #advertising #facebook #spongebob
