Our very own Amy McNamara sat down with SupplyChain247 to discuss her journey from Economics to Head of Operations at Boohoo Group PLC 📈 With a vision for innovation, Amy's role has been super varied. She is responsible for all things at our Burnley Distribution Centre working closely with our brands as internal customers, but also understanding our end customers 🤔 The supply chain industry is a predominantly male one with females only representing 37% of the workforce. But Amy's viewpoint is to try not to see herself as a woman in supply chain; but more just a person working in supply chain who also happens to be a woman. 'Give Back Day' 💫   We took 32 of our Supply Chain Managers, Heads Of and Directors out of office for the day to give back to both charities and schools within Lancashire. Earlier this month, in support of World Hunger Day, we teamed up with EGO OFFICIAL to host a Sample Sale at De Montfort University.🛍️ Together, we raised an amazing £1,809, which will be donated to Leicester’s Wesley Hall Community Centre. These funds will support their incredible initiatives, including their food bank and mental health services for the Leicester community.👏 Thank you to everyone who attended and shopped with us.
