Trigger warning: surgery Hayley’s son, Harris, was diagnosed with chondrosarcoma in August 2022 when he was just ten years old. Harris' initial treatment involved a 16-hour procedure to replace part of his pelvis and thigh bone with bone from his lower right leg (fibula). Despite this operation, months spent in a body brace and follow-up procedures, Harris will require corrective surgery for the rest of his life. With the development of new treatments, it is essential they give patients like Harris the best chance to thrive after bone cancer 🧡 Please support our ‘More Patients Surviving.
