A Year 10 student, Alfie Donlan, as part of his work experience produced a video to capture the wonderful work from Year 7 during their Skills Builder Chocolate Challenge event. Well done Alfie and all Year 7!

Year 7 put to practice all of their essential skills today in the Skills Builder Chocolate Challenge. All teams performed excellent, resulting in 31 representatives delivering a 1 minute elevator pitch in front of all of their peers and the Year 8 Skills Leaders, who judged the event. Well done to team 7 who displayed greatness across all essential skills! #priderespectkindness

It is already great to welcome MScape to our school and work with some of our Year 7 mathematicians. The students fully got involved and as an added twist this time, had to get into fancy dress if they required a clue for a puzzle. Yesterday our Year 9 sports leaders completed their final "Your Time" sports event, leading a sport session for our Year 7 Inspires students. The session was a great success and all of the leaders demonstrated outstanding leadership skills. We are very proud of the work they have completed for this award and we look forward to any future events they host. #priderespectkindness

A group of Year 10 students went to the John Taylor High School on Thursday 4th July to take part in the annual JTMAT Forensics Day. During the day, they took on the role of forensic scientists to solve an aviation based crime. They carried out fingertip searches, evidence collection and digital forensic exercises throughout the day. They then had to present their conclusions along with the other 5 high schools in the trust to a panel of judges. Our students showed excellent team work, problem solving and communication skills throughout the day and acted as fabulous role models. They were an absolute credit to our school, well done! #priderespectkindness
