The Cell Coding Company
About us
bit.bio is an award-winning human synthetic biology company - our mission: coding cells for novel cures. We have developed an end-to-end platform for the creation of any human cell type. With our cutting-edge and patent-protected opti-ox precision cell programming technology, we can deterministically program human iPSCs into a chosen cell identity with unprecedented biological consistency at an industrial scale, and approximately 10 times faster than conventional methods. Our platform has the potential to unlock a new generation of medicines. Our io Cells research products provide scientists access to highly characterised, consistent, scalable human cells that enable research and drug discovery teams to accelerate their experimental timelines and reduce experimental variability, providing an important alternative to traditional workflows. We are also leveraging our platform to build a pipeline of txCells for cell therapies. To achieve our goals, we have assembled a team of pioneers in stem cell biology, cell programming, mathematical modelling and cell therapy. We are empirical, highly ambitious and driven by a shared vision. Collaboration is at the heart of bit.bio. Join us on our journey. NEW DATA ALERT! To develop new therapies for diseases such as muscular dystrophy, there is a pressing need for reliable models of human skeletal muscles. Find out how Bi/ond developed such a model for Duchenne muscular dystrophy using our deterministically programmed human iPSC-derived skeletal myocytes and DMD disease models. Dive into the data by downloading our poster, recently presented at ISSCR! https://hubs.ly/Q02HNYxh0 #musculardystrophy #ioCells #drugdiscovery #skeletalmyocytes

Fantastic to see our cells in action. Thanks Nanolive SA for generating this stunning video.
🔗 𝗡𝗲𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 🔗 High temporal resolution reveals the fine details of growth cone dynamics in real-time as a neuron searches for another cell. We see undulating movements of the growth cone and the long filopodia as actin bundles are restructured, thanks to the label-free, high spatial resolution of Nanolive imaging. Can you spot the transport of materials away from the cell body too? Many thanks to bit.bio for providing us with these ioGlutamatergic neurons! #nanolive #biotechnology #imaging #neuroscience #neurons #technology #sciencecommunication #medtech #innovation #medicine #research
