The Earthshot Prize, founded by HRH Prince William, brings together innovators to tackle the consequences of climate change through optimism and action.   We were honoured to join the Earthshot Innovation Camp alongside fascinating people who are putting their minds to unearthing radical climate solutions. As part of London Climate Action Week, the camp featured a week of generative events, a fascinating trip to Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, and the chance to have some interesting discussions about the future of biotechnologies and mycelium.   Biohm’s Founder and Chief Evolution Officer, Dr Ehab Sayed, met Mike Bloomberg, the founder of Bloomberg Philanthropies, and other investors, innovators, and experts to discuss how collaboration can support our journeys to scalable solutions.   Watch this space! #LCAW

🎉 Biohm turns eight! 🎉 Over the past 8 years we have made waves in unmovable industries, inspired thousands of people, and demonstrated to humanity how we can find a path to reconnect with nature. Our biotechnologies have evolved to levels only imaginable across industry and academia and it’s all thanks to our truly ascendent and exceptional ever-growing team and network of support we have built around us. The number eight, with its infinite loops, representing the totality of the universe, the balance of the cosmic order, and the infinite dance between chaos and order, between destruction and new life, speaks of the profound interconnectedness of all things. Biohm as an ever-evolving organism is fundamentally driven and formed by the 'microorganisms' that make it, without which, eight years would have been but a pipedream. Dr Ehab Sayed will be delivering a talk on the transformative potential of biomimicry at Alvar Aalto Foundation Symposium in Jyväskylä, Finland on the 23rd of August.
