In advance of today's official opening of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, we were honored to take part in the #Festival24 United By Sports Forum organized by Sport dans la ville and Global Sports Week, highlighting initiatives by sports organizations, NGOs, and athletes to promote social inclusion and gender equality through sport. Alongside other social change leaders, our own Tarryn Horner had the opportunity to speak on going "Beyond The Competitions: How Major Sports Organizations Support Local Policies" on Thursday. It was also a pleasure to speak to young leaders taking part in an international solidarity festival. Truly enjoyed connecting and learning with inspirational people across the sports impact ecosystem at the world's largest sporting event! And stay tuned next month for exciting news on the full launch of the Olympism365 Innovation Hub - a collaboration between the International Olympic Committee – IOC, Beyond Sport and Women Win to support diverse innovators leading new and impactful approaches in sport for sustainable development! #sport #Olympics #Paris2024 #socialimpact #SDGs #forums #sportforsocialchange #innovation Fred Turner (he/him) Ollie Dudfield

#ICYMI: In honor of National Minority Mental Health Awareness Month (NMMHAM) in the US, we’re highlighting I Challenge Myself (ICM) - a Grantee of our Head In The Game US program powered by Z Zurich Foundation. The New York-based non-profit provides opportunities for public school students – 99% coming from Black, Brown or other minority backgrounds – to strengthen their bodies, minds and spirits through school-based cycling and cross-fitness programs. NMMHAM raises awareness about the unique challenges that affect the mental health of racial and ethnic minority and American Indian/Alaska Native populations. It also seeks to destigmatize mental illness and encourage public awareness. Since its inception in February 2005, ICM has served over 3,500 public middle school and high school students in the Bronx and Manhattan. The majority of its participants identify as Black, Indigenous, Hispanic or other people of color and its curriculum teaches about iclusivity covering diversity, gender and sexual orientation. #NetworkInAction 📰: https://bit.ly/3Y3NFzA
