Betfair Summer Gathering 2024 ☀ Recently, Betfair colleagues gathered in our London office for an exciting all day event jam packed with celebrations, successes and team building fun! Colleagues took part in and heard about; ⭐ The Betfair Baftas: Celebrating our colleagues big wins of the year so far. ⭐ Free To Be Me Workshop: Bringing one of our shared Flutter UK & Ireland divisional values to life with personal stories, presentations and team activities. ⭐ Flutter UK & Ireland Townhall: Attending the divisional townhall as a team with free pizza and snacks. ⭐ Monopoly Lifesized: Well, when in London! Our colleagues played Monopoly… but not as you know it! We travelled around a lifesized board earning our money by completing escape room style challenges. ⭐ Canapés and Catch Ups: A well-deserved wind-down at 100 Wardour St A big thank you to everyone who attended and who had a hand in organising and presenting throughout the day; Rachael Fitzsimons, Ross McDowell, Lisa Essuman, Fiona Kennedy. Last week, Betfair colleagues across Dublin and London were rolling up their sleeves and getting involved in some fantastic outdoor volunteering activities. In Dublin, colleagues were working in aid of ALONE who provide a variety of support to older people who are lonely, isolated, homeless, living in poverty or facing other difficulties. The day began at one of their residential centres; Willie Bermingham Place to spend the day outdoors providing much needed maintenance from planting to power-washing! ⚒ In London, colleagues were joining HandsOn London for their Brighten Up London campaign which aims to make green spaces accessible, fun and safe. Meeting at Brent Lodge Park, colleagues repaired fences, cleared invasive plants along the riverside and planted wild flowers. 🌸 Thank you to all of our wonderful volunteers who took part! #WinTogether #DoMore #BetfairVolunteeringDay Flutter UK & Ireland
