About us
Founded in 2000 to deliver web-based solutions for blue-chip companies, Base had a number of early successes, weathering the dot-com turn-down through 2001. Diversifying into site management and ecommerce services; forming strong partnerships with marketing and design firms, and investing heavily in research and design, Base also continued to work with a range of organisations from start-ups to blue-chips. Base ceased trading in May 2006, due to losses incurred on a project for a client that itself was closed by its head office. At its peak, Base employed over 10 people, and was a powerhouse of creativity and quality web development.
