I had a fantastic time today alongside my colleagues, at West London Film and TV Skills and Jobs Fest at Boxpark, Wembley. I connected with some amazing people! 👏 Celebrating the innovative spirit of our teams with the "One College, One Team" session! Featuring presentations from the Electrical Team, Student Services, and Employability - Business. Our Electrical Teachers shared an open discussion on the challenges, new trends, achievements, and opportunities when leading our students. Student Services shared the wonderful initiative of our Digital Student Ambassadors and impact the role has had on their lives. The students shared their personal wins since starting on the role. Our Industrial Placement Team celebrated the HUNDREDS of placement opportunities our students have gained through Barnet and Southgate College, as well as the growing opportunities for new students. We are absolutely thrilled that the NextGen Graduate Showcase at Framestore last week was such a success! The event brought together incredibly talented young people from across the NextGen network of colleges to showcase their impressive projects in games, animation, and VFX to industry professionals 🎉 The atmosphere in the room was buzzing and it was great to see so many meaningful connections taking place between students and industry. A massive THANK YOU and congratulations to all the graduates who attended, every professional that we spoke to commented on the very high standard of work on display, plus the confidence with which it was presented.
