From all at The O2, we send our heartfelt condolences to Chris York’s family, friends, and the team at SJM Concerts.   Chris was a true inspiration and one of this country’s greatest promoters. He promoted over 100 incredible shows at The O2, including Foo Fighters, Liam Gallagher, The Chemical Brothers, and the first ever Country to Country festival back in 2013, which created the biggest and most active country music community in the country.    Chris was a genuine music fan and an incredibly kind and inspiring man. We will miss him enormously, and are proud to have his legacy immortalised in our venue.

Today we celebrate one year of the University of Wolverhampton The Halls 🎉   Since the inaugural show headlined by Blur in 2023, the venue has sold over 200,000 tickets across 133 events, solidifying its position as a world-leading venue in the West Midlands.   Steve Homer, CEO of AEG Presents UK said: “I’m delighted to raise a glass to one year of music, memories, and magic at The Halls.
