Today marks the start of the Avaloq Community Conference in #Singapore, bringing together over 200 industry leaders from the worlds of wealth management and #finance. In the first keynote speech of the day, Takayuki Morita President and CEO of NEC Corporation and Tomoki Kubo, Corporate SVP and President of Digital Government Digital Finance Business Unit at NEC, celebrated NEC’s 125 years of #innovation and discussed the enhanced synergies between Avaloq and NEC. They highlighted key milestones that have led to Avaloq achieving record financial results. Our CEO Martin Greweldinger, then took to the stage to reflect on Avaloq’s achievements over the past year, including our partnership with Aladdin and to outline our strategic priorities for the coming months. He was joined by Pascal Wengi, our Managing Director for Asia Pacific, the Middle East and Africa, who provided a market perspective for the region, explaining how Avaloq supports the wealth management industry and the unique needs of each market. In the afternoon of the Avaloq Community Conference in #Singapore, we delved into a range of innovative solutions, including the latest in mobile banking technology, #data streaming, #crypto and #AI. Our Chief Technology Officer Martin Büchi opened the session by announcing our new platform as a service (#PaaS) offering, providing firms with a secure, self-managed cloud environment for developing, managing, and customizing applications. He also reiterated Avaloq’s commitment to our cloud transformation journey, the exciting milestones achieved to date and the concrete benefits for our clients. Our regional CTO for APAC MEA, Wina Iryadi then took to the stage together with Dishen Wang, Leonard Leong and Naidubabu Vanam. They shared updates about Avaloq’s new mobile banking app and highlighted how Avaloq supports real-time core data streaming and synchronization with our Business Event Grid solution. In addition, they discussed the rollout of web-based interfaces for enhanced user-friendliness, our commitment to integration through advanced #API technology and how Avaloq enables financial institutions to offer secure trading and custody of digital assets. This year's Avaloq Community Conference concluded with a special presentation for our Swiss-based clients, hosted by our Managing Director for #Switzerland and #Liechtenstein, Georges Roten. He showcased how Avaloq enables traditional financial institutions to offer trading and custody of #crypto assets, bridging the worlds of traditional and decentralized finance. Dominik Schaffhauser, Senior Domain Lead Functional Frameworks, introduced Web Workplace, our latest user interface for the middle and back office. This web-based #UI for Avaloq Core offers a superior user experience, with native web features and enhanced operability. Claudio Casoli, Domain Head Integration and Output, then took to the stage to discuss the Business Event Grid. He emphasized the importance of standard adapters for real-time data streaming and synchronization, enabling advanced data analytics and improved integration. Lior Leibovich, Head of #AI Lab, provided an insightful introduction to Avaloq’s approach to artificial intelligence and its use cases for wealth management.
