It’s never too early to start getting ready for Christmas 🎄, after all, it's only 70 days to go 😉 (and it's never too early to start stocking up your freezer!) and this year we're here to spread the festive cheer with the launch of our Aunt Bessie's limited-edition Gloriously Festive Star Yorkshires.   These magical Star-shaped Yorkshire Puds ⭐ are the perfect spin on our beloved Aunt Bessie's Yorkshire Puddings, adding something extra special to your Roast Dinner this Christmas and are sure to be a conversation starter around the dinner table 🍽 .   To bring the festivities to life, the (super) Star Yorkshires are launching into festive packaging to help get shoppers into the Christmas Spirit, and we’ve made sure to incorporate NaviLens technology on to them too to help make them as easy as possible to buy and prepare for those living with sight loss, as part of our ongoing partnership with the RNIB. The Christmas countdown is officially on! 🎄 Birds Eye UK & IE #christmas #stars #innovation #frozenfood

Today is World Sight Day! We are proud to be a long-running partner of the RNIB and we take inspiration from the UK's leading sight loss charity, alongside people living with sight loss, to help make shopping and cooking our products accessible to even more people. A huge thank you to Gareth Davies from the RNIB who came to our office on Tuesday to speak to us about the RNIB’s current campaign: ‘See the Person Not the Sight Loss’, and to share his personal journey of sight loss (there was an Aunt Bessie’s Roast Dinner after of course!). It was a great event and really helped inform us more on the challenges associated with sight loss and the power of resilience. Every six minutes, someone in the UK begins to lose their sight, and 95% of blind and partially sighted people find food packaging difficult or impossible to read because of the small print, making food shopping and preparation a real challenge. At Aunt Bessie’s we are continually looking at ways we can spread awareness and help give independence to shoppers, whether it’s through rolling out more NaviLens packaging or joining forces with content creators Claire Sisk (@canseecantsee) and Daisy Woods (@muddlethroughmummy) for the RNIB’s ‘Conversations Between…’ series, to tackle the myths of cooking with sight loss and drive positive conversation around it - Going live SOON on https://lnkd.in/ey6QPNDB ! #D&I #inclusion #worldsightday #seetheperson Birds Eye UK & IE
