Today Rick Green has stepped down after seven years as AIA Chair, handing the reins to David Giles. Rick is retiring after enjoying a 40-year career in the construction industry, latterly as Managing Director of Midland Quarry Products, Heidelberg Materials UK’s Leicestershire-based asphalt and quarrying business. We want to say a huge ‘thank you’ to Rick for all his work as our Chair: over the last seven years, awareness of the AIA and our activities has grown massively, in no small part due to his enthusiasm, passion and commitment to our aims.
