At ASOS, you have to be customer obsessed 🤩   We're on a mission to deliver the very best fashion to our customers and that means understanding them on a deeper level.   Like Lizzie, she's our Product Manager and ASOS Aces Winner for 'We're Customer First'. If there's someone who cares deeply about our customers - it's Lizzie!   How does it feel to be an ASOS Aces winner? I'm really proud to be named an ASOS Aces winner. It’s always great to be recognised, especially in an environment where so many colleagues are doing amazing work and equally deserving of recognition.   What makes you stay customer obsessed in your role? As a Product Manager, a large part of my role is listening to customers and internal teams to understand their challenges. Collaborating with tech allows us to create solutions that make a tangible difference. It’s rewarding to see how the work we do translates into real, positive outcomes for our users.   How do you put the customer at the heart of everything you do? I always start with the customer and work backward. Engaging with customers directly and collecting data on their needs helps me ensure that our decisions are based on solving real problems. This approach keeps the customer at the centre of everything we do.   #InsideASOS #WeAreCustomerFirst

This is Luiz. He's our Senior Big Data Engineer and like your local postie he always delivers.   Luiz was nominated by fellow ASOSers for the ASOS Aces Award for Deliver. He's always the first person to jump in, take ownership and provide support to other team members with his problem-solving and root-cause analysis.   Always delivering at ASOS means two things 📊 Cutting through the noise and letting data and facts do the talking 🥇 Taking ownership of our remits and roles and delivering excellence   But what does that look like? Luiz is telling us everything.   Hey Luiz 👋 How does it feel to be an ASOS Aces winner?   It feels great being an ASOS Aces winner. Even though it has been a challenging year, I have always focused on doing my best and delivering with the best quality. So, receiving this recognition is a remarkable milestone in my career at ASOS.   How important is data in your day to day role?   Data is at the very heart of my day-to-day role, especially in today’s data driven outlook. Almost every decision, from strategic pivots to day-to-day operations, relies heavily on accurate, accessible, and well-organized data. Without a strong data foundation, a company’s strategy could be severely compromised, making my role critical in shaping the future of businesses in this rapidly evolving area.   What’s one thing you've achieved this year workwise that you're really proud of?   I’m really proud of being able to make contributions to some projects used by teams across all the Tech department. It gave me the opportunity not only to learn more about what’s going on in the company but also inspire other teams that face similar issues as us.   What enables you to always deliver at ASOS?   Being able to always deliver is a combination of several factors that together create a productive environment. I would like to highlight three that helped me last year: 🤝 Teamwork: when we work together, we bring different perspectives, experiences and skills which help generating more creative solutions enhancing problem solving. 🚀 Well defined strategy: it’s easier to deliver when you have a clear understanding where the company is heading towards and what are your goals. 📈 Keep things simple: by focusing on clear, straightforward solutions, I could find most effective and efficient ways to meet the project goals without over complicating. #InsideASOS #Deliver #Values

Creativity is a mindset 🧠   You don't need to be in a creative role to be creative at ASOS. Sometimes it's designing creative product, other times it's finding solutions to difficult problems.   We want to inspire our customers, but to do that we need to inspire our ASOSers - that's where Amylouise comes in.   Amylouise is our Quality Advisor and won the ASOS Aces Award for Creative. As well as her day job, she's been connecting ASOSers with each other and setting up coaching sessions so they can get the most out of their career.   But how does she do it all? She told us how 👇 What made you want to run ‘Get to know Quality’ sessions and start a newsletter? I moved from the Compliance Team to Quality, but was an adviser beforehand so I knew how Quality have been perceived from an advisers perspective. I wanted to run the ‘Get to know Quality’ sessions firstly to introduce the 3 Quality Teams we have here in Leavesden, (Compliance, LANG Quality & EN Quality) and what we do – as it’s much more than just scoring a couple of incidents a week! Then secondly, to strengthen our relationship so that we can work together efficiently. In these sessions, it was also really important to me to get as much honest feedback as possible from advisers around their opinions on Quality, what is going well and what could go better. This was the initial step into bridging the gap between Quality and Model Office and allowed us to create a stronger relationship. The newsletter came off the back of a lot of feedback we received around recognition. Instead of it just simply being shoutouts, I thought it could be a two way learning opportunity for Model Office to see what Quality get up to monthly, as well as getting to know a couple of QA’s each month with a ‘Get to know me’ section. Do you have anyone in your team that inspires you? My whole team inspires me as they are all so unique and I can learn from all of them in different ways. I’d love to give a couple of shoutouts though! To Zoey Nicholas, for being my sidekick this past year and owning bridging the gap with me – she needs an award herself for dealing with my never ending list of ideas! My Team Leader Paul Darvill, for always pushing me to believe in myself, encouraging my development and helping me build relationships across the business. Noor Uddin for always offering support to me whether it’s work related or not, and giving great advice. How do you feel you're creative in your role? I feel I am creative by nature, and it may be due to my dyslexia but I’m much more of a visual person than just being told or having to read through something. I like to make things interactive, accessible and inclusive for all learning styles and I carry this through my coaching sessions, team meetings, projects and knowledge gap packs I create. #InsideASOS

Production Assistant @ ASOS | Completing my Business Admin Apprenticeship 📸

It was a real priviledge to be chosen to attend a Reception at 10 Downing Street on Monday, hosted by the British Fashion Council to mark 40 amazing years of London Fashion Week - together with ASOS CEO José! I’m currently 6 months in to completing my Business and Admin Apprenticeship at ASOS, where I’ve been working with the Integrated Producer team to get involved with the wide variety of projects ASOS has to offer. Fashion is such an integral part of the UK’s creative industries, and it’s so great to have this recognised by the Government! As the Prime Minister mentioned at the event, it’s so important that there’s opportunities for young people to grow in these creative roles, and to shape the world with their innovation and imagination! 💫 ASOS.com

Great to see our Head of Partnership Management Chris Peduto chatting about all things Partner Fulfils at the FT Live Future of Retail Summit earlier this week, alongside our tech partner Mirakl.   Our Partner Fulfils model helps us give our customers the best and most relevant products from our brand partners, by extending the range of products we can offer and providing additional depth when products are out of stock.   We’ve continued to scale our flexible models this year, and Partner Fulfils now accounts for over 4% of products sold on ASOS, with c.100 brands onboarded onto the model - including global brand partners such as Adidas, Cotton:On, and Tommy Hilfiger. #InsideASOS
