We are thrilled to help with the funding of this project so more cadets like Echo can assist injured and disabled former soldiers through recovery.
After a week of information about how you can volunteer with our dogs and their training, we are very excited to introduce our newest recruit, Cadet Echo! Echo is a Black Labrador named after the Military phonetic alphabet word for the letter ‘E’. He is a playful puppy who is enjoying learning about the world from his puppy buggy, he was so relaxed at the vets for his first health check that he tried to have a little snooze on the examination table. He loves his crate and will take himself in there for a sleep. He has met so many new people on the school run and been a superstar with his initial socialisation. Echo is a fun, playful, intelligent boy and we are really excited to see the progress he makes with his training over the next few months. Welcome to the Hounds for Heroes team Cadet Echo! Echo has been part funded by Army Benevolent Fund from a grant they recently awarded to the charity. This funding will support Echo and his ongoing journey to become an assistance dog. Meet all our dogs ➡ https://lnkd.in/gu5QES6b
