A few weeks ago, we announced the appointment of Aria Care’s new Chief Financial Officer, Antony Brister. Antony is very passionate about the care sector, having been a part of it for several years. He is looking forward to supporting our care teams through his leadership and expertise in finance. Magna Care Centre were visited recently by The Dot Collective who wowed us with a fantastic show full of flamboyant costumes and breathtaking acrobatics! The Dot Collective is a theatre company and charity that perform innovative, dementia-friendly theatre for care homes, dementia groups and older people. Their aim is to create colourful and engaging shows that are cognitively stimulating for those living in care, particularly those living with dementia. Following our recent acquisition of The Future Care Group (FCG), the Aria Executive team had the pleasure of spending a few days with some Support office colleagues and the FCG Home Managers. Kicking off with some unexpected celebrations as we (anxiously) watched England take on the Netherlands in the Euros (we are still in shock), followed by a wonderful day introducing the Aria team and sharing our successes and ways of working, but most importantly an opportunity to begin building strong relationships. It was evident that we all have a mutual passion for providing the best possible care to our residents whilst treating each other with respect and kindness. As we embark on this new chapter together, we are excited to create, innovate and achieve amazing things as One Team!
