A major refinancing completed at Alpha Trains Group with total of €1.3bn green finance debt raised including bullet tranches with a 30-year tenor, the longest debt ever issued by an Arcus Infrastructure Partners LLP investee company. We were delighted to host six A-Level students in our London office as part of The Sutton Trust ‘Pathways to Banking and Finance’ programme last month. This is the fourth time we have participated in this valuable social mobility programme. and we were once again pleased to have the opportunity to work with a group of bright individuals.   The students spent four days with the Arcus team learning about the infrastructure sector, hearing from the investment team about their day-to-day roles, assessing businesses and financial modelling, skills workshops on CVs, interviews, and presentation preparation, and the importance of personal brand and how to build one. The placement ended with presentations from the group, who were put through their paces in a mock Investment Committee scenario, and it was fantastic to see the way they effectively approached it.
