AMI are recruiting fabricators to add to our team. Main Duties, Tasks and Responsibilities · Fabrication of architectural metalwork products in Stainless/Mild Steel including stairs, balustrades, balconies, secondary steelwork, wall rails, glazed canopies etc · Excellent TIG/MIG welding skills. · Experience of finishing and polishing stainless steel, preferential but not essential. · Ability to interpret drawings. · General workshop machinery experience, such as bending, linishing, drilling, ironworking, saw cutting etc. · Jig design and set up for production runs is an advantage. AMI start 2024 as we mean to go on by securing the balcony and architectural metalwork package on the Hawks Road development for London Square. This scheme, comprising 125 high quality affordable rent and shared ownership homes, is being developed on the former Hawks Road Health Clinic site in Kingston upon Thames, Surrey. Sitting at the Northwest corner of the future Cambridge Road Estate masterplan the scheme is considered the ‘missing piece’ of the masterplan site, forming part of one of the main entrances to the wider estate. Architectural Metalwork Installations Ltd are delighted to have secured the balcony package on Brookfields House in Staffordshire for our client Adlington Retirement Living With construction now well-underway, Brookfields House, will comprise 75 stylish one, two and three-bedroom retirement apartments for the over 55’s, in a safe and secure environment, with the benefit of patios or walk-out balconies to all apartments. The right candidate will be an hardworking and ambitious individual with a keen desire to progress within the industry. Key responsibilities will differ for each role but will include some/all of the following: • Pricing allocated estimates from start to completion in a timely fashion. • Attend estimating and pre-contract meetings as required. • Chair handover meetings passing secured projects to our production team. • Maintain effective relationships with employees, clients, contracting partners and consultants.
