We are proud to announce that Amberside Advisors have been supporting Greenvolt Energias Renovaveis SA and their funders, with their latest acquisition and refinancing of Kent Renewable Energy Limited (KREL), a CHP biomass EfW facility, in a deal worth ca. £200m. Amberside Advisors, working closely with the client’s adviser, have conducted a financial model audit and due diligence, which helped the client secure acquisition funding. This project allowed us to utilise our financial modelling expertise and combine it with our deep knowledge of the biomass market and renewables industry. How old is your financial model? Does your financial model need a health check?   Amberside Advisors has 1000 operational models in circulation globally across multiple sectors, with some models being up to 15 years old. We rarely get questions on how to operate the models, as they are easy to use, navigate and analyse, but we have noticed a trend of clients wanting a top-down Model health check review, as models over time... 🤝 change hands within organisations, 🔀 are used in different ways by different people, 💻 can be mis-used with manual adjustments forced through, and 📚 can become outdated as accounting & tax legislation changes.
