The past week, Alt Atlas participated in #BIO_2024 from June 3-6 in San Diego with the amazing JLABS Singapore team. Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO) is the largest event for biotechnology, representing the full ecosystem with more than 18,500 industry leaders from across the globe. Some of the most popular topics that Alt Atlas is working on included: #AI: Overcoming systemic data bias via AI #Oncology: Six CAR-T cell therapies have been approved by the FDA over the last six years to treat blood cancers. Allogeneic cell therapy promises to be the next-generation option to broaden patient access, lower costs, and increase reliability and scalability. #Cell_Therapy: Manufacturing and supply chain are major hurdles to reaching patients. Alt Atlas' AI toolkit supports cell therapy by optimizing current #CAR-T cell production processes and paving the way for allogeneic cell production, making it more accessible to all. Thank you to the JLABS Singapore team, in particular: -Melinda Richter for creating the JLABS concept, which allows startups to accelerate their growth and connect with J&J. -Julien Dedman for opening the doors to JLABS, as well as Joseph Ho (Brinc). -Sharon Chan for accepting us into this program, staying on top of things, and always being available despite her very busy schedule. We are pleased to announce our acknowledgment in the paper titled "Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Applications for Cultured Meat." This remarkable initiative is led by New Harvest in collaboration with the Alberta Machine Intelligence Institute (Amii). The paper addresses the scarcity of public literature on the opportunities for #artificialintelligence and machine learning techniques to tackle technical and economic challenges in the field of #culturedmeat. We are honored to have contributed to such pioneering research and to continue doing so with our AI toolkit to assess cell health, moving forward. Alt Atlas had the opportunity to attend the #MEVO (Meat Evolution Leaders Summit), #BILS (Bio Innovation Leaders Summit), and #CGTI (Cell & Gene Therapy Innovation Summit) in Barcelona last week on February 7th & 8th. It was a particularly interesting event as it brought together Biotech and Foodtech multinational companies and startups to exchange ideas and leverage these industries. During the event, Alt Atlas had the opportunity to validate our bioinformatic analysis powered by AI, which uniquely integrates multi-omics and cell morphology, with industry experts from Bayer, Sartorius, Merck Life Science. We also gained insights from the panelists on the need to improve pluripotent cell lines (iPSCs) for large-scale manufacturing. Overall, the event was truly remarkable! https://lnkd.in/d6bKSA_T

After successfully completing the pre-accelerator stage earlier this year, Alt Atlas has now gained entry into the prestigious Pioneer Group accelerator program. We are honored to continue our collaboration with the exceptional Pioneer Group team: Nelli Morgulchik, Barry Middleton, Miranda Knaggs. Thank you for providing valuable support and network within the UK life sciences ecosystem. We eagerly anticipate our in-person meeting at BioCity Nottingham next month, as we look forward to further advancing our endeavors.

Alt Atlas pitched to 600 attendees at #Ftalks23 / fifth edition by KM ZERO Food Innovation Hub. A strong #foodtech ecosystem is developing in #Valencia, Spain!
