We promote and license a catalogue of award-winning TV programmes and formats to broadcasters and media platforms across the globe. Over 1,000 broadcast, DVD and digital platform clients from over 200 countries entertain their audiences with the content we supply. As part of the UK’s leading production group, All3Media, we partner with UK and international producers from both inside and outside the group to fund, develop, produce and distribute TV content and formats.     All3Media International is delighted to be partnering with the Social Mobility Business Partnership (SMBP) for the third year in a row as part of their WISE (Work Insight & Skills Experience) programme supporting bright young people from less advantaged backgrounds. On Wednesday 31st July 2024, All3Media International will host a cohort of year 12 students to give them a unique insight into our content distribution business as well as the wider industry. Students will watch presentations from our Content, Sales, Formats, Finance and Legal teams; take part in interactive skills sessions on commissioning, building a personal brand and content creation as well as enjoying a “fireside chat” with our CEO, Louise Pedersen.   Previous year’s WISE days have proved to be hugely enjoyable and a worthwhile experience for all involved. We’re sure this year’s will prove to be the same. By partnering with SMBP, we’re hoping to make a career in the TV industry more visible and accessible.     We are thrilled to share our VP Global Digital Partnerships, Amanda Stevens, will be joining industry experts including BBC Studios’ Beth Anderson and ITV Studios’ Graham Haigh at FAST Fest on Tuesday 23 July 9am EDT. Participating in Scaling Opportunities discussion panel, Amanda will be discussing the world of FAST and AVOD space.     We are thrilled to partner with the genre-leading teams at SILVERBACK FILMS and National Geographic to bring David Attenborough: Ocean, an expertly told and timely documentary to audiences around the globe. Presented by Sir David Attenborough, it will cast an essential spotlight on how we can restore the world’s oceans. National Geographic has acquired first-window global rights and will premiere the feature globally in 2025, in theaters, and on Disney and Hulu. Told with Silverback’s world-class cinematography and commitment to pushing the boundaries of natural history, the documentary will transport viewers across the Americas, Europe, Africa, and Oceania. Filmed in diverse habitats including coral reefs, mangroves, coastal communities, fish farms, and marine sanctuaries, "David Attenborough: Ocean" captures practical and affordable solutions to reversing harmful human activities and restoring the ocean to its most pristine and vibrant state. Attenborough said, “My lifetime has coincided with the great age of ocean discovery. Over the last hundred years, scientists and explorers have revealed remarkable new species, epic migrations and dazzling, complex ecosystems beyond anything I could have imagined as a young man. In this film, we share those wonderful discoveries, uncover why our ocean is in such poor health, and, perhaps most importantly, show how it can bounce back to life.”

    Our scripted formats are continuing to find fantastic partners in India, with Locomotive Global Media acquiring exclusive rights to adapt Two Brothers Pictures Limited thriller Boat Story. The show will be adapted for India by Mayank Sharma who is known for creating, writing, and directing three seasons of the gripping hit Prime Video Original series ‘Breathe’. Speaking on the acquisition, Roshni Ghosh, Producer at Locomotive Global Media said, “We at Locomotive Global Media take enormous satisfaction in our ability to adapt international formats to suit the Indian audience. We are incredibly excited to bring ‘Boat Story’ to India. On our journey to engage with millions of viewers, we are delighted to be able to collaborate with the most prolific creative minds in India and our partners at All3Media International to present stories that defy formulaic narratives and deliver an unparalleled entertainment experience.” Jaenani Netra, VP, Sales Finished & Formats (Asia) at All3Media International expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, “Locomotive Global Media’s partnership with All3Media International presents such exciting times for India as this is our first scripted format deal together. It is a great choice of show, as Boat Story doubles up as a gripping thriller and as a darkly comic drama.     Our EVP Asia Pacific, Sabrina Duguet, will be attending Licensing Con 2024 in Seoul, Korea on 19 July at 2pm KST. Sabrina will be attending The IP Business of the Rising Global Super Format, The Traitors as a speaker, discussing the global success of the format and the IP business.   Prior to the event, Sabrina commented: ‘I am delighted to be speaking at Licensing Con 2024 to delve into the success of The Traitors. Already a global format phenomenon on screen with 25 adaptations worldwide, The Traitors success story has continued off screen, which has been a fantastic way to diversify the revenue but also to offer the audience a lot of different ways to interact with the brand they love.  Recently selected as a finalist for the prestigious Licensing Awards, it’s been fantastic to see so many brilliant licensees coming on board to cement the brand’s strength and rapid expansion in the licensing market. With a board game, card game, online game, book, dress-up line and apparel line already available (and with much more to come), I am thrilled to showcase this exciting new area of our business at Licensing Con.”

    We are delighted to be returning for a second season of the hit psychological thriller The Ex-Wife from Clapperboard Studios, BlackBox Media and NIGHT TRAIN MEDIA, commissioned by Paramount UK. Supergirl‘s Katie McGrath has joined the cast in the lead role of Jen, while Celine Buckens (War Horse, The Castaways) and Tom Mison (Sleepy Hollow, Watchmen) reprise their roles of Tasha and Jack. Jordan Stephens (Tucked, Foundation) returns to play Sam. David Swetman, SVP Content and Commercial Strategy at All3Media International commented: “With the first season of this premium four-part thriller proving an international hit, acquired by partners across North America, Europe, the Middle East, Australia and New Zealand, we are delighted The Ex-Wife is coming back."
