We are thrilled to announce that we have made significant strides in our sustainability efforts. Our EcoVadis score has improved significantly and we are now in the 80th percentile.   Despite the increase in medal boundaries this year, we have proudly retained our Bronze medal and are on the verge of achieving the Silver medal (which is awarded to those in the >85th percentile). 🥉   We’ve seen particular improvements in our Labour and Human Rights Category, which has increased from 40% to 60%, and the Sustainable Procurement category, which has risen from 60% to 70%.   We are committed to continuous improvement and are excited about the progress we’ve made. A big thank you to our team for their hard work and dedication. Onwards and upwards! 🌍💪

CIPP lining, which stands for cured-in-place pipe lining, is a way of curing a resin liner inside an existing pipe to repair damage or prevent leaks. It is used when there are too many defects in the drain to install localised patches. CIPP lining is a trenchless technology which means remediating drainage pipes without excavation. New drinking water guidance! The Drinking Water Inspectorate (DWI) has just announced that new guidance on PFAS will be issued to water companies later in the summer. There are four key changes that will likely be announced: 1. Measuring 6:2 fluorotelomer sulfonamide alkylbetaine (FTAB) from January 2025 2. Changes to detecting PFAS in raw and final water where it is not treated 3. Informing the DWI of PFAS chemicals not listed 4.
