Last week, residents at our Chislehurst neurological rehabilitation and residential service in London, had an exciting group outing to IKEA Greenwich, where residents got to choose and purchase new dinnerware for the service. Residents took their time making decisions, working together to find the perfect items. After a busy morning of shopping, everyone enjoyed lunch in the restaurant area before heading home. Special thanks to our Blackheath Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre for supporting them with travel on the day. Now the fun part begins as the residents will be reorganising the dining area and setting up the new dinnerware. 🙌 We can’t wait to see how it looks! #ResidentOuting #Teamwork

A resident at Conifer Lodge, our learning disabilities residential service in Cambridgeshire, is already getting in the festive spirit by having a fantastic day out recently at the Queen’s winter estate, Sandringham! 🎄✨ They enjoyed a peaceful walk through the beautiful grounds, collecting pinecones to decorate for Christmas. Sandringham is a perfect spot for anyone seeking tranquillity, and residents at Conifer Lodge are lucky to have this just a 30-minute drive away from their service. With a gift shop, café, ice cream parlour, garden centre, and plenty of scenic paths, it’s the ideal place to unwind. They had an amazing time and left with a big smile on their face. 😊 #DayOut #SandringhamEstate #ChristmasPrep

The young people at Ivetsey Bank Hospital, our child and adolescent mental health service (CAMHS) in Stafford, have been taking part in animal care therapy groups, and it's been an incredible experience! 🐹 Animal care therapy is more than just spending time with animals – it helps promote emotional well-being, reduces stress, and fosters a sense of responsibility and connection. The therapy hamsters and mice have a beautiful home of their own called the Active Care Group ‘Pink Palace'. P.S - How cute is Cinnamon the hamster? 💛 #AnimalTherapy #HealingWithAnimals #MentalWellbeing

Patients from Kings Norton Hospital, our acute mental health service in Birmingham, have been very busy recently with lots of activities. They've been getting active through community boxing sessions 🥊, hosting a Macmillan coffee morning with scrummy cakes and treats on offer 🍰, and enjoying a beautiful afternoon at a local conservation park. 🐒 The conservation park allows them to enjoy nature while working towards personal goals. Outings like the park and boxing, provide patients with meaningful experiences, enhancing their community engagement and social skills, all while supporting their mental well-being. We hope they had some cake left over to sit and enjoy with a cup of tea after all of those activities! #CommunityDays #MentalHealth #DaysOut

⚽️ What an amazing day for some of our patients at Murdostoun Neurological Care Centre in North Lanarkshire, who got the chance to attend the Rangers Football Club Legends v Celtic Football Club Legends football match! 🏴 The group had a fantastic time soaking up the atmosphere, reliving some great football memories, and meeting some true icons of the game. Two of the photos capture a special moment with two football legends: Bobby Petta, who lit up the wings for Celtic in the '90s, and Chic Charnley, the unforgettable cult hero from Partick Thistle. ⚡️⚽️ Thank you to everyone who made this day so special — these are memories that will last a lifetime for our patients! 🧡 #FootballLegends #RangersVCeltic #UnforgettableMoments #TheOldFirm
