When the 2024 GP Patient Survey was published, we were keen to see how the national data compared with our total triage Ambassador practices - a group of practices who run training sessions for their peers that are looking to implement a total triage model. We found.... 🥁 🌟 Patients registered with our Ambassador practices found it easier to contact their GP using the practice website and the NHS App compared to the national average, with a 20% and 10% point difference respectively. 🌟 More patients reported faster resolution of requests with a same-day service based on their last contact (42% vs 22%), suggesting that Ambassador practices are significantly better equipped with the tools and workflows to action requests more efficiently. Switching to a total triage model can be daunting. That's why we have partnered with over 170 different practices through our Ambassador scheme to date. Yesterday's NHS waiting times figures demonstrate just how far there is still to go to clear the backlog. Our CEO & co-founder Jacob Haddad spoke to Times Radio about the urgent need for staff to be given tech that streamlines waiting lists and improves patient care. He said: "Today's figures demonstrate the critical need for a whole systems approach to healthcare, it's not just about minor tweaks; it's about fundamentally rethinking how care is delivered and ensuring the system is joined up." Jacob also emphasised the importance of leveraging communication platforms to reduce waiting lists and improve efficiency. "By contacting patients with simple questions, we've found that many can be removed from waiting lists because they no longer need treatment."
