10,000 Able Interns

To everyone who's applied for an internship through our programmes - we need you! We are currently working on a project with Clearview Research to better understand the impact The 10,000 Interns Foundation has had on the lives of interns that have taken part in the programme. Specifically, we want to hear your views on whether the programmes have supported your career progression, impacted your inclusion in the corporate world, or helped you form a new community. Through this survey we are looking to hear honest and informed feedback from 10,000 Interns’ alumni and current interns who have engaged with the 10,000 Able Interns Programme. We are also looking to hear from people who have not been successful in gaining an internship on the programme. Last year 8 members of our team decided to get in a boat on Dorney Lake, and take on the ROYAL NAVY. We had muscle, we had rhythm, we had the strength of youth. We rowed a hard 4 rounds. The Royal Navy came first, then GSK. We lost every. single. race. Thankfully, athleticism wasn’t the test of the day, and we managed to raise some serious £££ for Lia’s wings. As if our pride needed another hit, we signed up to go again. On 3rd July, we are picking back up our oars to raise money for Lia's Wings, AND Black Minds Matter UK. Do you remember your first mentor? Each programme cycle, we ask our participating organisations to appoint mentors to support and advise their interns throughout their internship journey, and this year is no different. All mentors receive training on inclusivity and effective mentorship by our incredible partners Cappfinity. This year, the training will take place on 28th May.
