About us
Good Heart For Support ( GHFS ) is a charity organization found in Bugiri District in Uganda that started in 2016 and it's fully registered with REG. NO: BGR/BUW/CBO REG 020/29 GHFS feeds over 50 orphans and 20 Vulnerable families around our community. We feed these vulnerable children starting with breakfast, lunch and supper daily. Your support is what enables us to deliver life changing service to meet the need of the disadvantaged and vulnerable children around the community. Your contributions also helps to provide a student with a uniform, meals and scholastic supplies. Every child is accounted for $50 for education every month. Our Mission “Giving hope to orphans, needy, vulnerable and disabled children.” We are in position to achieve this by providing them with education, medical care and spiritual development. OBJECTIVES *To create awareness among children and communities in matters concerning children’s health issues like personal hygiene and safe water maintenance To provide disabled persons with the requisite therapy training, care and love so that they can overcome the social limitations placed on them because of their disabilities and achieve their goals and dreams. *To bring up the girl child to be the mothers of tomorrow through guiding and encouraging them to attend to women education. Education is globally acknowledged as the most powerful means of empowering girls and women and protect them from violation of human rights and cycles of gender based violence. *To prevent and mitigate the impacts of HIV/AIDS in Uganda. The affected persons with HIV/AIDS need counselling and guidance. *To provide the widowed men and women with love, mental, physical, emotional and spiritual nourishment and the power to step into the outside world and accomplish their goals and dreams.
